Yordan Silvera. Artist, Designer & Creative Director

Yordan Silvera is a multidisciplinary creative director, artist, designer, and illustrator. He trained in fine art painting at the Escuela San Alejandro, the Cuban National Academy of Art, and later studied graphic design at The Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, DC.

His practice spans traditional and contemporary mediums, including oil and acrylic painting, large-scale murals, digital art, video, and interactive installations. Each piece invites viewers to engage with both personal memory and broader social commentary.

His paintings, drawings, and multimedia works reflect the layered identity of a Cuban-American artist navigating the cultural and ideological dialogue between his countries of origin and adoption. Raised between Havana and Washington, Silvera’s work embodies the tensions and harmonies of two worlds: politics and patriotism, religion and morality, abstraction and figuration, nostalgia and modernity.

In addition to his studio work, Silvera is the founder of Tactic Pixel, a creative consultancy specializing in branding, visual strategy, and digital experiences. He has led creative initiatives for Fortune 100 companies and global brands, while maintaining a central focus on his art and its exploration of identity, place, and narrative through visual expression.
